Nels Cline is an incredible guitar player in the popular music scene with Wilco and he has stretched boundaries for years in the avant-garde scene. Here he recorded a set of creative improvised music that, for me, is far more accessible than much of his avant-garde catalog. This music still stretches boundaries, but it finds a compromise with the rhythm and blues. It hits soulfully and is delightful in the living room. Thanks Nels.
