It's been an active ski season for our family this year. We started the season off before Christmas at Copper Mountain, Colorado. On January 5th the central Virginia mountains got about eight inches of snow. That was followed by a cold snap leaving snow on the ground for three weeks and a few more small storms that provided good skiing conditions. We've been from here to Wintergreen quite a few times. I snapped this photo near Antioch, Virginia off of Route 620 (Rolling Road). Nice view of Wintergreen from Fluvanna County.
This is the view from the top of Wintergreen on January 26th. It was a good birthday celebration ski day.
