I thrive outdoors and relish in the time after the solstices.  It is in this heart of winter and dog days of summer that I find myself less restless and more present.  That said, I want to live in a manner that would warrant an epitaph that states, "he enjoyed the weather." I am undeniably religious.  I wrestle with Christian faith and try to view the world through a theological lens. I am faithful while maintaining a healthy dose of skepticism as Christianity seems to be hijacked with power, hatred and injustice. Music gives me a balance of peace and joy.  

This blog started as a 2025 new year's resolution.  It is mostly music, some outside highlights, ideas to remember, and intentionally very few politics. Use the labels to explore the posts.
