Today, June 14, 2025 was a difficult day for me as a citizen of the United States. It's Donald Trump's birthday and he held an Army parade in the streets of DC for the Army's 250th anniversary. This unprecedented parade happened on the heels of Trump deploying the military in Los Angeles to stop people from protesting his aggressive attack on people of Latino descent. These attacks are part of his immigration reform - illegal deportation and imprisonment. Armed federal agents are making violent raids and unwarranted arrests in LA and many other cities in the USA. People are protesting in hundreds of cities and the protesters have coined the Army parade as the "King's Parade." I found a painted rock in Fluvanna County, Virginia today that said, "No Kings." Fluvanna is primarily a Trump supporting county. In other news today, two democrat representatives in Minnesota were assassinated by a radical right wing murderer. Prayers are ascending for the USA, Minnesota, and all the families connected to these tragedies.
